Scott Collard – Fire Chief North Hays County Fire Rescue / Hays County ESD #6 Scott Collard started his career as a volunteer firefighter in the San Antonio area in 1988. Scott attended the fire academy at San Antonio College in 1990 and obtained his certification as an EMT later that year. Scott’s first paid job was in Harker Heights, Texas in April 1991. Moving to the Dallas Metroplex, he obtained certification as a Paramedic in 1994. Scott utilized his dedication to the job as motivation to build upon his education and subsequently climb up the career ladder. He has been involved in fire service management for over 12 years and has been working with North Hays County since February of 2014. Scott holds an Associate’s Degree in Fire Science and numerous professional certifications and license. He and his wife Sarah have been married over 22 years and have two children, Abigail who is 15 and Vance who is 13. |

The Campaign

June 5 – “The Campaign” -- the victorious City Council candidates Taline Manassian, Travis Crow, and Bill Foulds. This will be a panel discussion. Each will speak for just a few minutes to introduce themselves. Then I will question them about the race, what it was like for the first-time candidates, what drove them to run, and what they see will be the dynamic and issues with a bigger turnover than we have seen in over a decade. |

Rebecca will make q presentation on the mission, goals and history of Centro Cultural Hispano. The Centro highlights contributions of Hispanic people to the City of San Marcos and Hays County. The Agency was founded six years ago and provides services and lessons in piano, guitar, art, dance and science at no cost to children, teenagers and adults form Hays County. Rebecca will also provide information of the Agency's first gala, which will be held in September in San Marcos with special guest, John Quinones, ABC television Special Correspondent. |

Etta Moore currently serves as the Executive Director for The 100 Club of Central Texas. She began working for The Club in August 2013 after a nearly 30 year career with Girl Scouts that began in Oklahoma and then brought her to Texas where she retired from Girl Scouts of Central Texas as CEO in 2012. The 100 Club of Central Texas provides support to the families of first responders particularly during line of duty tragedy. Ms. Moore utilizes her knowledge and skills of the nonprofit community to further the mission of the organization. She is inspired by the memory of her brother and other family members who proudly served and continue to serve as first responders. A 25 year resident of Pflugerville, Ms. Moore graduate of Oklahoma State University. She has one son, two grandsons. |
