Angela has been a resident of Dripping Springs for 31 years, and been the Pharmacy manager for 9 years. Jim & Dorinda Martin are the current owners of Dripping Springs Pharmacy. The Martin’s currently own three pharmacies all run by different managers. She went through some of the special services that the pharmacy provides that makes them special. The pharmacy is able to compound medications, so if you require a different strength medication than what is available, they are able to make it up for you. There is a medication review that is available where the pharmacist will audit all your prescribed medications, no matter where they are filled, to make sure there are no drug interactions. With each newly prescribed medication, a pharmacist will review the medication with you. When it comes time to renew or sign up for prescription plan on Medicare, known at part D, the pharmacy will help you select a plan that is the best fit for you. The plans change from year to year, so it is a good thing to review annually in the fall. There are a varied list of immunizations available. From the yellow fever shot, both types of pneumonia, flu, etc. Four employees are solely dedicated to provide customers with State of the Art Supplements. The high quality supplements are the ones we should all be taking because our bodies process them more efficiently.

 

The pharmacy offers a DS Savings program that is beneficial to uninsured clients and for meds not covered under the client’s insurance plan. It offers competitive pricing plan with all local competitors. There is an annual fee of $ 11.95 for this service. Wheel chairs, walkers, canes, crutches, scooters, lift chairs, all types of durable medical equipment is available for purchase. Diabetic supplies are available for purchase. Diabetic shoes and compression stockings available for purchase. Genetic testing to see how you individually metabolize drugs is available. It is a once in a lifetime saliva test.  Hormone testing and hormone replacement through the compounding department is also available. They can even do medications for your animals and flavor them too. Double fish flavor is a feline favorite.
